Apple MacBook Air MB940LL/A 13.3 Inch Laptop
With the MacBook Air, Apple has created the world’s thinnest laptop–measuring an unprecedented 0.16-inches at its thinnest point (and 0.76 inches thick overall). Apple brings its vaunted multi-touch technology, found on the iPhone, to its laptops with the MacBook Air, enabling you to pinch, swipe, or rotate to zoom in on text, advance through a photo album, or adjust an image via the oversized trackpad. And the MacBook Air embodies Apple’s continuing environmental progress with its aluminum enclosure, a material highly desired by recyclers; Apple’s first mercury-free LCD display with arsenic-free glass; and brominated flame retardant-free material for the majority of circuit boards as well as PVC-free internal cables. Despite the its slender shell, the MacBook Air doesn’t skimp on the specifications. It includes a 13.3-inch LED-backlit widescreen display, full-size and backlit keyboard, and a built-in iSight video camera for video conferencing. The MacBook Air is powered by a custom-built 1.86 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor, which provides an optimized, multithreaded architecture for improved multitasking performance. And it features the integrated NVIDIA GeForce 9400M graphics processor, which delivers outstanding 3D game play with up to five times faster graphics performance than the previous generation. This model is loaded with a 128 GB solid-state drive, which has no moving parts for enhanced durability. Other features include 2 GB of RAM, Wi-Fi connectivity via 802.11a/b/g/n standards, Mini DisplayPort video output (for DVI and VGA connections), and up to a 4.5-hour battery life. It comes pre-loaded with Apple’s Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard operating system, which adds over 300 new features including easy backup of your most important data via Time Machine, a redesigned desktop that helps eliminate clutter, and the newest version of the fast-loading Safari web browser. It also comes with the iLife ‘08 suite of applications, including iPhoto, iMovie, G (more…)

Laptops have come of age with this work of art!!!
I’ve been lugging around laptops since the mid 90’s and this is the first one that deserves to be called a portable; all others are better termed ‘luggable.

Apple MacBook Air
I got this slim and sexy looking Macbook Air for my work and it was REAL bad choice. This one cannot even have 3-4 applications running at the same time.

Portability A Plus!
My model is the 1.86 GHz, 2 GB RAM, 128 SSD used with a Speck Cranberry Speck See-Thru case — it fits my portability needs perfectly.

Best of the minimalist laptops
OK, I’ll be frank. I’ve wasted a lot of time and money trying to find the perfect laptop. I was like an oboe player, searching for the perfect reed.

Dream for Students!
Have had the MBA for one week now and still having a blast getting used to it. I switched to the MBA 1.67 120GB from an older Macbook Pro – and am so glad that I did!

For those sensitive to unwanted sounds
I picked up this second generation 1.6 GHz MacBook Air, today. Sadly, I’ll have to return it tomorrow.

Updated Macbook is a WINNER
Replaced my Rev A (first version) with this one. This machine TOTALLY ROCKS. This can be your only computer.

Ok, but hot at times
Works great. But watching videos on the internet and having other applications open really gets my Macbook Air 2nd generation hot.

My new favorite!
My favorite used to be my Macbook Pro but ever since getting the Macbook Air, my MBP has been feeling left out lately.

Beautiful object, fast and very portable.
On the other hand too few connection ports.
