I was looking for a notebook that would not get too hot, and I found it. This is the one. Under the most heavy usage, it just gets a bit warm.

Don’t do it !
There are well known documented software problems with the new timelines on internet forums. The problem being that the computer is very slow due to cpu being bogged down.

I bought an Acer computer on June 26, which was the day that purchases became eligible for the free upgrade to Windows 7.

Recommend purchase but numerous flaws to keep in mind
This is a light-weight low-cost quality laptop that many people will find enjoyable to use: good keyboard, good screen, easy to carry around, good looking.

I have had my Acer Timeline about a week. This is a very nice computer. It booted up fast and the keys are comfortable to type on(even with long nails).
